Why recycle Batteries:

Lead –acid Battery recycling is the ultimate environmental success story.  More than 98% of battery lead is recycled compared to 55% of aluminum cans, 45% of newspapers and 26% of tires.

Battery recycling is a close loop life cycle. New batteries will contain 60 to 80 percent recycled lead and plastic.  The batteries we pickup for recycling are always sent to permitted recyclers where, in compliance with strict environmental regulations, the lead and plastic are reclaimed and sent to a battery manufacturer for new batteries.  The lead from batteries will be recycled many, many times.
